By far the most popular and most-known domain registrar, Go Daddy (godaddy.com) is a reliable domain seller and provides the best customer service, the most services and some competitive deals when deciding how to create your website. Domains that end in .com are priced at $10.69, .net at $8.99, .org at $14.99 and .info at only $0.89--the cheapest out there.

While some of these prices may be daunting, there are plenty of other websites out there that offer packages of services that include free domains with other services like hosting. Hosting plans run monthly but generally are needed by most websites anyway so it's good to get these deals if you plan to stick with one web host. Prices for deals can be as low as $2-3 per month for hosting with a free domain included.
