How to Switch POP Email Servers
Post Office Protocol (POP) servers retrieve email and are typically used with web-based email services. You need to know the name of your POP server to set up email applications such as Outlook Express and Windows Mail. At times, you may be asked by your email provider to switch your POP server name if there has been a change in the network or service that causes the address of the server to be different. This process is fairly simple and quick.
