How to Enter a DNS Into an iPhone
Domain Name Service, or DNS, helps your iPhone, or any portable device, translate web addresses into Internet Protocol, or IP, addresses. When you are using a Wi-Fi network on your iPhone, you may need to change the DNS server address. This process takes a few moments to accomplish.

Step 1
Tap the "Settings" icon on your iPhone. This icon is a large gray gear.
Step 2
Tap on the Wi-Fi network to join it. Tap the small blue right arrow associated with the network that you have joined.
Step 3
Tap the DNS entry and use your keyboard to change the DNS address.
