How to Configure the DNS in Virtual PC
Even if you have not had to deal with it before, your Domain Name Service (DNS) allows your computer to connect to the Web. DNS typically configures itself automatically, but users of Virtual PC--a program that emulates the Windows operating system on non-PCs--may need to set the DNS on their computers.
Instructions
Difficulty:

Step 4
Click "Use the following DNS server addresses" and type in the DNS you want to use manually if you want to set the DNS address yourself.
Step 5
Press "OK" to finalize your choices. You may need to relaunch Virtual PC to save your selections.
