How to Buy Domain Names in Bulk

Buy domain names in bulk.

Buying domain names can be a lucrative business. For instance, the original owner of the domain name Poker.ca sold it for $400,000. Unfortunately, searching for and buying domain names can also be tedious and boring. If you have ever tried to search for domain names one at a time, you know exactly how tedious and boring it is. The good news: Some domain name registrars allow you to do bulk searches and buy several names at once.

Instructions

Difficulty: 2

Step 1

Find a bulk domain name registrar. A few you might wish to consider include GoDaddy.com, BulkRegister.com and NameCheap.com (see resources below).

Step 2

To search for a single domain name, type it in the search box. Select the suffix you want (for example, .com, .net or .org). Click "Go" or "Search." To search for more than one name, find the option for "bulk domain search" or "bulk registration." Enter the names in the field provided and click "Go" or "Search."

Step 3

The engine will provide the domain names, including "premium" names (those that other people are trying to sell) that are available, as well as related domains. The list may provide a few dozen options.

Step 4

Select any names that appeal to you and click "Register."

Step 5

Enter your payment details and click "Submit."
