How to Build a Website With Frames
When you have other website resources that you want to add to own your website, you have to embed links to those website resources into the coding of your site. To prevent your website visitor from leaving your website when he clicks on those resource links, you can add frames to keep them on your site. By adding a website frame you can split your page into columns. Each column will contain a different website. Your website visitor can then use the column scroll-bars to scroll through the information inside of each frame.
Instructions
Difficulty:
Step 1
Log in to the "Control Panel" of your web hosting account.
Step 2
Click on the "File Directory" to access the page files of your website.
Step 3
Select the "Edit" option for the page you wish to add a frame to. This will launch the page's HTML editor.
Step 4
Insert the following HTML code inside of the HTML editor:
<frameset cols="50%,50%">
<frame src="www.yourfirstsite.html" />
<frame src="www.yoursecondsite.html" />
</frameset>
Step 5
Edit the code from the previous step to customize your frames. For example, you can change the width percentage of the frame columns. Insert your own website addresses in place of the addresses in the example. If you like you can add additional frames. To add additional frames, just add the width percentage for the frame and add another website address for the frame.
For three sites:

For four sites:

Step 6
Click the "Save" option to save the table to your web page. If you see a "Publish" option click that as well to make your changes go live on the Internet.
Step 7
Repeat for each page of your website you wish to add frames to.
