How to Build a Website With Flash
Many websites that include animated elements are built in the Adobe Flash application, which is part of the Adobe Creative Suite software package. After you have built a webpage in Flash, you can export the design to an HTML file and upload it to your web server. Any visitor with Adobe Flash Player installed on his computer will be able to view the website.
Instructions
Difficulty:
Step 1
Launch the Adobe Flash application on your PC or Mac computer.
Step 2
Go to "File" in the top menu bar and choose "New."
Step 3
Select the "Flash File (ActionScript 3.0)" option and click "OK" to create a new file.
Step 4
Click on the "Size" button in the bottom toolbar to determine what size you want your new website to be. By default, the webpage will be 550 pixels by 400 pixels.
Step 5
Use the toolbar on the left side of the window to add new elements, including text, graphics and animations, to your website.
Step 6
Open the "File" menu and select "Publish Settings."
Step 7
Check the box next to "HTML (.html)" and press "OK" to save the settings. This will instruct the program to build an HTML version of the Flash file when you are done with the design.
Step 8
Go back to the "File" menu and select the "Publish" option. Flash will now export your design as an HTML file.
Step 9
Upload the HTML file that you just exported to your active web server. Any visitor with Adobe Flash Player installed will be able to view your new website.
