How Do I Check for a Domain Name Expiration Date?
A domain name is a web address used to connect to a website on the Internet. Most domain names begin with "www" and end with short extensions such as .com, .org or .net. Some people register domain names without any intent to create a website in the hopes that they will be able to sell the domain name to someone else that wants to use the domain name for a website. Registered domain names eventually expire if they are not renewed. Many websites offer "WHOIS" tools that can pull up information on domain name registrations.
